Adam Starling opened the evening by saying the fight between The Rising and The Pillars
was never the whole story. There was another voice: a rebellion redacted from Longmont's
history. On this night it belonged to "Box State Brawler" Murdoc Graves.
"If you only have two choices, then you don't really have any choice at all."

Graves arrived alongside XJ Khaos, Rubi Devlin, and
Morgan Mandella. They were not there to join somebody else's fight.
They were there to start their own.
Match 1 · Tag Team
Rubi Devlin & Morgan Mandella def. Erza Menagerie Tinker & Anuka Gutierrez
Winners: Truth Through Violence
Debut match
Rubi and Morgan called out Erza and Anuka the moment their introductions ended, then beat
them in a hard-fought opener. Afterward, Erza and Anuka embraced and left LoCo Pro
together. Their happy ending, for now.
Match 2 · Grudge Tag
Nicky Hyde & Carter Cash def. Fly Boi CJ Quinn & Mr. Wright
Winners: Hyde & Cash
Substitution
Johnny Crash arrived ready to compete, but LoCo Pro's medical team could not
clear him in time for the grudge match. Crash recruited the up-and-comer
CJ Quinn to fight alongside Mr. Wright. Quinn competed
with tremendous heart, but he and Wright came up short. Carter Cash and Nicky Hyde were
clearly not on the same page, and they still found a way to win.
Match 3 · Triple Threat · Number-One Contender
Zeak Gallent def. "All Business" Dean Mercer and Codah Alexander
Winner: Zeak Gallent
Title shot earned
Mercer brought the power. Codah brought the speed. Zeak survived both, won the triple
threat, and earned a City of Lights Championship match later the same night. JT Staten
was still waiting for him.
Intermission
Match 4 · Tag Team
Michael Avalon & Franky Gonzales def. Murdoc Graves & XJ Khaos
Winners: Pretty Great
The handshake
Graves and Khaos came out first, ready to represent the rebellion. Michael Avalon
came out to fight. Franky Gonzales was announced as his partner, but he
appeared in street clothes, exchanged a few words with Avalon, and stepped away to watch
from ringside. Avalon took the fight to both men by himself until the numbers began to
overwhelm him.
Franky could only watch for so long. He hit the ring, the chemistry was immediate, and
Pretty Great was back. They won with the Pretty Great finisher. Afterward, Avalon offered
Franky his hand. This time, Franky accepted it.
Match 5 · Singles
Morgana Lavey def. Major Glory
Winner: Morgana Lavey, by pinfall
Unexplained
Major Glory came through the curtain confused, agitated, and nothing like the
Major Glory Longmont is used to seeing. Before the match could begin, cameraman
Logan Chase caught his attention. Glory went after him, beat him down,
dragged the attack into the ring, and slammed him before finally turning to
Morgana Lavey.
Morgana appears to have some kind of control over Glory, though there were moments when he
seemed to fight her influence, as if part of him knew something was wrong. Morgana pinned
him. Then Glory did her bidding, lifted Morgana onto his shoulder, and carried her away.
Why he attacked Logan, what Morgana is doing to him, and how much control he still has are
open questions. Even Commissioner Adam Starling does not have those answers.
Main Event · City of Lights Championship
Zeak Gallent def. JT Staten (c)
New City of Lights Champion
One-on-one
The Vigilante appears
JT Staten entered expecting The Foundation to be there when he needed them.
Nobody came. Nobody saved him. But his past did come back to find him.
The Vigilante appeared and called JT out, pulling his attention from the
match long enough for Zeak to try to capitalize. Staten survived the distraction, but the
momentum had shifted. Zeak kept fighting, and when it was finally over he had beaten JT
Staten one-on-one to become the new City of Lights Champion.
After the Bell

Commissioner Adam Starling stepped into the ring and raised Zeak's hand. Then he
turned to JT Staten and said out loud how much of what Longmont had watched since November
had been by design: every contract, every wrestler who stepped into a LoCo Pro ring, every
dollar he spent, every decision that pushed The Rising and The Pillars toward this moment.
His original plan had been to lock Staten out of the Opera House himself. Instead, Staten
could keep it. LoCo Pro had found a new home in a beautiful building in the heart of
Longmont, and Starling liked it that way.
Everything had been building toward the picture in front of him: Staten on the ground, The
Rising victorious in the middle of the ring, and the Longmont faithful there to witness it.
The wrestlers themselves, he admitted, had been part of his plan whether they knew it or
not. Then he turned back to the man whose hand he had just raised.
"Sorry, Zeak. I lied to you."

That is when Carter Cash's music hit. Carter stormed the ring and confronted the
new champion, then turned toward the Commissioner and flattened him with a superkick.
Before Zeak could process what had happened, Nicky Hyde attacked him from
behind, picked up the City of Lights Championship, and stood over the fallen champion,
staring Carter down with Zeak's title held above his head.
Carter Cash on one side. Nicky Hyde on the other. The new City of Lights Champion caught
directly between them. That was the final image of Last Stand at the Lodge.
